Compound Numbers — What This Calculator Shows That Others Don’t

One of the things that separates this calculator from everything else available is the inclusion of compound numbers — and I want to explain why this matters, because most people have never heard of them.

When you reduce a number to a single digit, you lose information. A person born on the 5th of any month has a Birth Number of 5. A person born on the 14th also has a Birth Number of 5. So does a person born on the 23rd. On paper they are identical. In practice, in my 24 years of consulting, they are not. The compound — the unreduced total — tells you why.

14 is called ‘The Pyramid’ in classical Chaldean tradition — it carries the energies of the Sun (1), Rahu (4) and Mercury (5). 23 is called ‘The Royal Star of the Lion’ — it carries Moon (2), Jupiter (3) and Mercury (5). These are entirely different planetary blends producing entirely different personalities and entirely different compatibility dynamics. Treating them both as a plain 5 is like reading only the chapter heading and missing the whole story.

Here is a case study, a boy named Kartik B Sharma (date of birth is 20 July 1991) wants to know his love & marriage prospects with a girl named Rashmi Rawat (date of birth is 16 Jun 1997). Calculations of their name number, and birth & destiny numbers are given below.

Reading the Results

Though Chaldean is the primary system in name numerology, we evaluate name numbers based on both Chaldean and Pythagorean systems for fine-tuning purposes. If we have to choose one system, we give priority to Chaldean.

There can be four scenarios:

1. Chaldean & Pythagorean both match — Exceptional compatibility.
2. Chaldean matches, Pythagorean does not — Good compatibility. Chaldean is the senior system.
3. Pythagorean matches, Chaldean does not — Moderate compatibility. Proceed with awareness.
4. Neither matches — Significant incompatibility. Requires conscious effort.

 Chaldean Name Numbers (3 vs 3): Both share Chaldean name number 3 — outstanding compatibility for both romance and marriage. Number 3 resonates with creativity, expression and joy.

Pythagorean Name Numbers (6 vs 5): Compatible for romance but not shown as compatible for marriage in the Pythagorean system.

Birth Numbers (2 vs 7): Compatible for romance and marriage. A sensitive, intuitive pairing.

Destiny Numbers (2 vs 3): Compatible for romance, but the Chaldean system does not show marriage compatibility here.

Conclusion: Strong Chaldean agreement — a good romance and potentially a harmonious married life. When both Chaldean name numbers match, that is given the highest priority.
