The destroyer of darkness and ignorance – Goddess Kaalratri is worshipped on the Saptami or the seventh day of Navratri. The three-eyed & dark complexion goddess is considered quite a violent form of Goddess Parvati. 

 The Goddess has four arms and she rides a donkey, both right hands stay in Abhaya (protecting) and Varada (giving) Mudra and the left hands carry a sword and a noose or a hook.
